Scholarship Admission Testing Dates

Testing for new incoming 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. 

Saturday, November 21, 2009: Centennial Scholarship Testing

Saturday, February 20, 2010: 21st Century Scholarship Testing

Compete for a $4000 Merit Scholarship renewable each year your student attends MV.  Call 419-381-1313 to reserve a place for your child at the testing.  An application and $50 admission process fee should be sent in to us prior to testing day.  If you do not have an Admission Packet please ask for one when you make your testing reservation.  You will also need to set up a visit day for your child at that time.  Please have your child's school send his/her school records and teacher recommendations (forms will be in the Admission Packet). Testing begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.  Students in Grades 7 to 9 should being a four-function, scientific or graphing calculator. 

Scholarship winners are selected on the basis of testing, school records, teacher recommendations, visit and interview. 

 

Lower School Discover MV Days

Wednesday, February 10, 2010 for Grades 1 to 6 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Friday, February 26, 2010 for Grades P3 to 6 from 8 - 10 a.m.

Friday, April 23, 2010 for Grades P3 to 6 from 8 - 10 a.m.

Spend time meeting teachers and seeing what a day in the life of a Lower School student is like.

P3 Cabin Fever Fun Day

Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 9:30 - 11 a.m.

Parents and their prospective P3 students will meet the P3 teacher, Leigh Ann Meinecke, who will guide them in games, projects, song and dance and a snack.  Get a feel for the P3 program & ask questions about the Maumee Valley experience.
