The emphasis in Maumee Valley's three year-old program is on educating the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Activities revolve around this very important philosophy. With an average student-teacher ratio of seven to one, children have many opportunities for one-on-one interaction with their teachers.

Each day, children have the opportunity for creative play and hands-on activities. Learning centers are setup in the classroom to allow free exploration. They feature nature, art, housekeeping, computers, blocks, listening and sand/water play. Activities in the centers change to accommodate curricular themes or student interests and are designed to strengthen a child's motor, tactile, and auditory skills.
