- Maumee Valley Country Day School, established in Toledo, Ohio, in 1884, is the only independent school (PK-12) in Northwest Ohio.
- School population of nearly 500 students (200 in grades 9 - 12).

- 20% of seniors received National Merit recognition (finalist, semifinalist or commended)—the highest percentage in the region.
- 25% of students are AP scholars (score 3 or higher on at least 3 AP exams).
- The average ACT score is 29 (on a 36 scale) tops in the region. The average score nationwide is 21.
- The average SAT score is 1239 (on a 1600 scale). The average Ohio score is 1079 and the national score is 1021.
- 14 Toledo Youth Orchestra participants

- Finished in the Elite Eight in High School Girl's Field Hockey State tournament
- Senior MVCDS golfer finished third in state tournament receiving All State recognition
