24 Hour Hackathon at MVCDS!

GlassHacks will be a 24 hour hackathon October 15 -16, 2016, hosted at Maumee Valley Country Day School, and open to high school students across the country. Over 120 attendees are expected including volunteers, mentors, judges, sponsors, and students. The event is open to all high school students, regardless of prior experience - skilled individuals as well as beginners with little to no experience, are welcome to attend.
Hackathons are 24 to 36 hour events where teams of students (experienced AND beginner) work together to build cool projects in both software and hardware. The goal is to offer as many learning opportunities throughout the event as possible. This includes workshops, contests, and, of course, speakers. Nearly everything you could possibly need to have an incredible hacking experience will be provided. Expect great prizes, cool T-shirts, and lots more!

The students need to only bring a computer (preferably laptop), charger, sleeping bag and maybe one or more power strips, the rest is provided. Students can register at: glasshacks.net

Here is an article in the Toledo Blade about the event.
