We know this might seem a bit daunting to some, but we are so excited to connect with all of you through our digital online bidding website. If you experience any issues or have any questions about any of the items included, please reach out to Allie at adane@mvcds.org.

Here are some FAQs to get you started!

Where can I find the auction?

How do I register?
It is important that you register with your current cell phone number, email address, and credit card information. We will be sending you alerts regarding your items and important information regarding when certain aspects of the auction will be closing.
 
Register directly on the online bidding website. To register, click the “Start Bidding” button in the upper right-hand corner of the page. It will redirect you to a login page. Click the “Create Account” button, enter your email address, and hit the “Confirm” button. You should automatically receive an email asking you to verify your account. Can’t find the email? Search your Inbox, Spam, or Junk email folders.
 
Verify your account by clicking the link in the verification email. Fill out the necessary information, and hit “Create”. You’re registered!  You should receive a confirmation text and email within a few minutes.

You are able to purchase a $35 Entertainment Bag if you register BEFORE May 14th and live in the Greater Toledo area. To purchase, register on our online bidding page, then submit a payment through our MVCDS website.

When can I start to bid on items?
Bidding will open up for select items during our
LiveStream Kick-Off Event on May 16th at 7:00 P.M.

All silent auction items, leaderboard items, sign-up experiences close May 23rd, 6:00 P.M.

The Live Auction Bouncy Ball Raffle will close at 11:59 P.M. on May 21st, and the winner will be notified early the next morning via phone or email.

We will be hosting a live auction on May 23rd at 7:00 PM. We will be sending out that information through the email you have provided during registration to anyone who has registered by May 23rd at 6:00 PM. 

Live Auction Raffle

What is the Live Auction Raffle?
This year, we had planned on hosting a Live Auction Bouncy Ball raffle. Each bouncy ball costs $100 and would equal one entry into the raffle for the chance to take one of our live auction items!

We have recreated this on our virtual platform here.
It's $100 per ball/spot. Purchase by 11:59 PM, May 21st and one lucky winner will be notified the next morning. That lucky winner will then choose a live auction item, taking it out of the live auction.

For the sign-up experiences (300-range items), am I able to sign up more than once?
Yes! This year we are offering some amazing sign-up experiences and have split them into two groups: adults only and children sign-ups. Each experience has a set price eligible for 1 spot, but you are able to purchase additional spots!
For example, the Advancement Team will be hosting an MVCDS Bonfire Night in our outdoor classroom during the 2020-2021 school year. If you and your partner would like to attend, you will need to purchase 2 spots for $20 each.

Raise the Paddle

Are you still hosting a Raise The Paddle for those who wish to fund-a-need for the school?

Yes! In the midst of this pandemic, Maumee Valley Country Day School needs your help more than ever. Raise The Paddle this year will provide student financial support in the coming years.

Our community has been hit hard with the spread of COVID-19. Businesses have shut down in an effort to flatten the curve. Some parents have had to distance themselves from their children as members of the front line in their fight against the outbreak. Others have been laid off due to the temporary closings for certain workplaces. We have students who may or may not be able to attend next year due to an economic downturn caused by this disease.

Please Raise Your Paddle for student financial support. Your impact could be the difference for many of our students and their families in the coming years.

Maumee Valley Country Day School is the only age 3 - 12th grade accredited, co-educational, independent school in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
