The Educational Journey Begins at Age Two and a Half

The Maumee Valley Preschool program introduces your child to learn in a nurturing, engaging, and educational setting. Nestled into our campus, our youngest will spend a generous amount of our day exploring our outdoor trails and woods in our secret garden.  With a desire to inspire and engage our children in meaningful and positive outdoor experiences, we make time every day for exploring. The program is based on developmentally-appropriate practice with an emphasis on each child’s social-emotional development and well-being.

Through free-choice and small group learning experiences, your child will begin to explore friendships with other children their own age, to experience playing in different situations and to develop a sense of belonging in the class. Over the year, they will learn to develop positive relationships with other adults outside of their immediate family circle and gain independence and confidence, which will prepare them for the future.

The Maumee Valley Early Learning Center offers full and half-day programs in Preschool. Programs offered include three full days a week (M-W) from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, five half days a week (M-F) from 8:00 am to 11:15 am, and five full days a week (M-F) from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
