The Middle School Pillars help guide students through emotional growth and social development and are emphasized through classes, advisory, and service learning to create a meaningful sense of empathy and compassion that will reside with them for the rest of their lives.

Kindness, Respect, Responsibility, & Participation

These are the student pillars of the MVCDS Middle School. We consider them integral to every student’s learning experience here and devote strong efforts to making sure that they succeed. We do so in several ways - most notably the advisee system. Class participation and activities, social events, and community service also give students time to work on these areas.
