Caring & Supportive Staff

The experienced and well trained staff, led by the Director of Student Life, provides guidance and mentorship as they meet the needs of the students in the residential community. With a 7:1 student-resident faculty ratio, staff members know students extremely well and work with them as they develop as students, leaders, global citizens, and young adults.

The goals of the Student Life Staff include:
  • monitoring and promoting balance, wellness, and health of residential students.
  • providing a dynamic and enriching co-curricular experience.
  • supporting the individual needs and issues of students.
  • maintaining a safe, clean, and positive residential community.
  • integrate the residential students into the larger Maumee Valley student body.
The Student Life Staff emphasizes the integral role a vibrant residential experience plays in the overall education of our students. As advisors for the students, the staff does an incredible job in fostering a culture of trust, respect, openness, and personal responsibility among all of the students.
