    Affordability Options
We are proud that our students come from many different communities, types of families, and economic backgrounds, creating a student body that represents the rich diversity of our region.
Just as our school is dedicated to the success of each child, we are also committed to making Maumee Valley financially accessible for our families. We offer a variety of payment plans, scholarships, and financial support programs for qualified applicants.

  • Payment Options

Maumee Valley offers multiple payment plan options (one, three, or 12). Payments will be deducted automatically from your checking or savings account. For an additional 3 percent convenience fee, you may charge your American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card.
  • Financial Aid

Financial aid is need-based and is for tuition only. Families must reapply each year their student is enrolled at Maumee Valley.

Families apply for financial aid during the admission process. Maumee Valley uses FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment. The application can be found at FACTS. The online process requires parents/guardians to provide current financial data and a copy of their tax return from the previous tax year. The financial aid process is strictly confidential and has no bearing on the admission process.
  • Merit Scholarships

Maumee Valley awards merit scholarships to qualified applicants for Grades 6 through 9. The merit scholarship program is designed to recognize the various qualities we value in a Maumee Valley Country Day School student. There are two types of scholarships students can apply for:

HAWK SCHOLAR: Recipients are selected based solely on their scholastic achievement.

MV MISSION AWARD: Recipients are selected based on their academic record in addition to their contributions outside of academics through extracurricular and community engagement.

We award up to seven renewable scholarships worth $2,500 each in both categories each year.

Interested families should contact the Admission Office for more information and the timeline.
  • Hosting International Students

Welcoming a student from another country is a wonderful way to expose your family to a different culture and build lifelong global relationships. It can also be a way to help pay for your children's tuition, as Maumee Valley offers a monthly housing stipend of $900. Interested families should contact the Admission Office for more information.
  • NW Ohio Scholarship Fund

NWOSF is an outside organization offering privately funded scholarship dollars. More information can be found at Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund.
  • Ohio 529

A 529 plan is a tax-advantaged investment plan operated by a state to encourage saving for education expenses. Funds from 529 accounts can now be used to pay tuition for students attending private K-12 schools. Contact your financial advisor for more information.
