    Affordability Options
We are proud that our students come from many different communities, different types of families, and a wide range of economic backgrounds, comprising a student body that represents the rich diversity of our region.

Just as our school is dedicated to the success of each child we are also committed to making Maumee Valley affordable. We offer a variety of payment plans, scholarships, and financial support programs for qualified applicants.

  • Payment Options

Maumee Valley offers multiple payment plan options (one, three, or twelve-monthly payments). Payments will be deducted automatically from your checking or savings account. For an additional 3.0% convenience fee you may charge your American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card.
  • Financial Aid

Maumee Valley has a strong commitment to its financial aid program and to enrolling an economically diverse student body. Financial aid is need-based and is for tuition only. Merit scholarship recipients may also apply for financial aid. Families must reapply each year their student is enrolled at Maumee Valley.

Families apply for financial aid during the admission process. Maumee Valley uses FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment. The application can be found at FACTS. The online process requires parents to provide the family’s current financial situation and a copy of their tax return from the previous tax year. The financial aid process is strictly confidential and has no bearing on the admission process.
  • Merit Scholarships

Maumee Valley awards merit scholarships to qualified applicants for grades 6 through 12. To be eligible for one of these scholarships, students must have a completed application file and have taken admission testing on one of our two testing dates (typically one Saturday in December and one in February).

Applicants for the residential program are automatically considered for the Founders Scholarship, which is a merit award based solely on academic and extracurricular criteria including test scores (either the SSAT or Maumee Valley's admission test), grades, interviews, and application information. Founders Scholarships are up to $30,000 in total ($7,500 per year).
  • Hosting International Students

Welcoming a student from overseas is a wonderful way to expose your family to another culture and build lifelong global relationships. It can also be a way to help pay for your children’s tuition, as Maumee Valley offers a monthly housing stipend of $900. Interested families should contact the Admission Office for more information.
  • NW Ohio Scholarship Fund

NWOSF is an outside organization offering privately funded scholarship dollars. More information can be found at https://nosf.org/.
  • Ohio 529

A 529 plan is a tax-advantaged investment plan operated by a state to encourage saving for education expenses. Funds from 529 accounts, which formerly could only be used for college expenses, can now be used to pay tuition for students attending private K-12 schools. Contact a financial advisor for more information.
