  • Steven Ashley '70

    Steven is currently the Managing Director of Masterpiece - PBS’s Sunday night flagship series featuring the best from U.K. drama producers. The series has won a record 83 Emmys since 1971, 16 Peabodys, and two Oscar nominations. Steven oversees the national scheduling of the series, it’s Web site and digital products, assists in program development and selection for the series. The series is based out of WGBH in Boston where he has been since 1994.     Prior to joining WGBH and Masterpiece, Steven was Director of Scheduling at PBS headquarters in Washington, D.C. before joint in PBS, he served in a variety of production and programming roles at WGTE TV/FM in Toledo.    Steven comes from a proud, long line of family members who’ve been associated with MVCDS and the Smead School with siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents who attended, taught, and cut class through the years.    Steven lives in Cambridge and Westport, MA with his partner Rebecca Eaton.

  • Jason Gilmore '94

    Jason is a filmmaker, producer, novelist, and photographer. He normally writes dramas and dramedies — interspersed with social commentary — about people torn between who they’ve been and who they are becoming.

    His short films have aired nationally on CBS, FOX, ABC & NBC, numerous film festivals, and have been taught at several universities. He has also developed a project with ESPN Films. Also, his work has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Dime Magazine, Shadow and Act, Voyage LA, and the Toledo Blade.

    The Toledo, Ohio native and University of Pittsburgh grad has many feature scripts and pilots in various stages of development. He lives in Inglewood, CA with his wife and two daughters.

  • Anant Tamirisa '02

    Anant is Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for AGC Studios in Hollywood, CA. He oversees all business and legal affairs matters for the company and its divisions, including feature film, scripted television, unscripted television, and documentaries/docuseries.

    Anant previously was Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Lionsgate Entertainment, where he focused on worldwide acquisitions and distribution of feature films and television series. At Lionsgate, he founded the company's first-ever pro bono group dedicated to finalizing adoptions of underprivileged and disabled foster children into permanent homes. The group’s work in the community resulted in Lionsgate winning the Association of Corporate Counsel's 2018 Pro Bono Counsel of the Year Award which was presented at a gala keynoted by President Barack Obama.

    Before Lionsgate, Anant was an attorney at Pantelion Films. He earned his B.A. in American Studies at Miami University, holds a J.D./M.B.A. from The University of Toledo, and is a member of the California State Bar.
  • Parul Agrawal '01

    Parul Agrawal serves as Vice President, Drama Development, at Warner Bros. Television (WBTV). Agrawal has developed over 150 drama script ideas during her tenure at the company and regularly works with WBTV-based writers and producers such as Ava DuVernay, Greg Berlanti, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Elizabeth Banks, Mindy Kaling, Rob Thomas, and many more. She is also responsible for identifying new writing/producing talent and new creative material. Over the past few years, Agrawal has developed or co-developed a number of high-profile drama projects such as Riverdale, Batwoman, All American, Prodigal Son, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and the Veronica Mars reboot on Hulu. She also developed the upcoming Netflix series Maid and Breathe and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and Gossip Girl for HBOMax. Agrawal was featured as one of Variety’s “New Leaders” in 2020. She majored in Film & Television and Broadcast Journalism at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
  • Tyler Boehm '01

    Tyler is Vice President of Sobini Films in Los Angeles, CA. he oversees Sobini Film’s financing operations and the creative development of all of Sobini’s projects. His production credits include the Image Awards-nominated independent feature EMPEROR, J.T. LEROY starring Kristen Stewart and Laura Dern, MARY SHELLEY starring Elle Fanning, MILES AHEAD, starring Don Cheadle and Ewan McGregor, GOOD KILL, starring Ethan Hawke, and the British Independent Film Awards-winning FILTH, starring James McAvoy. Boehm also wrote and produced the comedy ALL WIFED OUT, which was released by Phase 4 Films in 2013. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Boehm joined the company as a development assistant in 2006 before being promoted to Creative Executive in 2008.
