The class of ‘55 held its 59th reunion June 19-22 at the newly renovated historic home of Jack and Cynthia (Hutton) Lafferty in Newport, RI. Events included the Bermuda race with a picnic lunch, reunion dinner at a fine local restaurant, Newport’s 375th anniversary parade, and a secret garden tour. Alysia Tromblay Class of 1979
Alysia Tromblay, ’79, was in a Tibetan Monetary in India this past March. Here she is with “her children” from rural areas. These children are about to receive a full education with the help of Alysia. Please purchase a copy of her CD. Each copy funds the education of ten children.
Nora is a published author and illustrator who has been creating children’s books for more than a decade. She has illustrated the works of many different authors and has written and illustrated two children’s books of her own. The process of creating images inspired by a writer’s words brings her tremendous happiness and satisfaction. She feels fortunate to have the opportunity to work with so many different authors. Nora’s illustrations, often done in watercolor, are inspired by her love for stories as well as her own childhood memories.
Erik is the owner of Frogtown Computers, located in Sylvania, Ohio. Erik credits his love of technology to Dorothy Jabarin, who allowed him to learn all about computers at Maumee Valley. Frogtown provides service and upgrades for Apple Macintosh computers as well as PCs. Frogtown offers free computer and electronics recycling and donates a portion of proceeds to local services, such as Beach House Family Shelter and Sylvania Area Family Services. Liz Krueger Class of 2006
Liz married Cal Roberts of Toledo, Ohio, June 28th, 2014 at Carranor Hunt & Polo Club. They live in Cincinnati where Liz works as an IT project coordinator for Mercy Health. Cal works at E.H. Greene Intermediate teaching fifth grade Social Studies and is the head coach for the Anderson Barracudas Swim Team.

Carmen graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a minor in Entrepreneurship in 2012. In 2014 she graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design with her Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture and a teaching certificate. Carmen married Eric Nedrow, from Sylvania, Ohio, on June 21st and spent a wonderful honeymoon visiting her parents in Europe. They are now opening a business selling beads and used books, with a café area for people to enjoy. It is called Beads and Books!
