Maumee Valley Parent Association Mission

The MVPA supports and complements the mission and philosophy of Maumee Valley Country Day School through volunteer service, parent education, and community building. MVPA strives to actively involve and communicate with the entire parent community.

A Letter from the MVPA President

Greetings MVCDS!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! It is both an honor and a pleasure to serve as your MVPA President this year. I have had the opportunity to meet with many new school leaders and Administrators that have recently joined our community, and I am happy to say that they each bring with them an enthusiasm and willingness to learn both what has worked for our community in the past, along with an openness and desire to explore new educational avenues for our students. While many traditions will remain, the MVPA is looking forward to sharing a few new and exciting opportunities for us to continue growing and building our community. Please keep an eye out for upcoming communications!

Whatever your capacity, whether it's small or large, I want to emphasize that there are plenty of opportunities for you to serve our community in a way that is meaningful to you. We still currently have an open seat for the MVPA Treasurer, as well as area representative openings in many divisions of the school. If you, or a family member, would like to join us in these efforts or would like to discuss future volunteer opportunities in more detail, please contact me directly. To those of you who have already made the commitment to actively participate in the MVPA over the years, I thank you, and I hope that you will continue to aid us in our mission to support our MVCDS community.

I wish you a wonderful school year, and look forward to working together!
