Science
The Lower School Science Program at Maumee Valley fosters an environment of curiosity and wonder through an inquiry-based teaching approach. Students are encouraged to be observers of the natural world, make inquiries about their surroundings, test hypotheses, analyze data, and communicate findings to an audience. The curriculum in each area (Primary, Lower Intermediate, and Upper Intermediate) rotates between Year A and Year B topics of study. Each year, students are exposed to concepts in life and physical sciences, with technology and engineering skills embedded in each unit.
