MV Students Attend Model UN
Twenty-seven MVCDS students attended the Candian American Security Council (CASC) in Lansing, MI, over the weekend representing everyone from the US and China to Guatemala and Liberia. There were numerous councils running, including the Security Council, the European Union, NATO, the Arab League, the Organization of American States, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The two-day conference tackled real issues before these organizations and cast the students as representatives of member states.

Everyone did well at the conference, with Jeremy Mahoney, Stephane Granato, Kenan Zaidat, and Eric Slotterbeck all winning awards for their efforts.
Maumee Valley Country Day School is the only PreK-12th grade accredited, co-educational, and independent school in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
