Two MV students selected to participate in Youth Leadership Toledo

Two Maumee Valley Country Day School students will have the opportunity to grow their leadership capacity as they were selected to be a part of 2021-22 Youth Leadership Toledo. 
Cooper Gensler '24 and Gurnoor Patti '24 will join 62 other students from 37 different schools across the region. 
The organization strengthens our area's young leaders and encourages them to make meaningful changes in their community. 
The group meets during the school day from August to May in day-long sessions. Each session focuses on different topics that help participants reach their program goals, that include:
  • Lead: Become a more confident leader
  • Connect: Become connected to your community
  • Grow: Grow stronger in self-awareness 
  • Serve: Find meaningful service through group projects
Participants are nominated by their school's and then invited to apply. 
Maumee Valley Country Day School is the only age 3 - 12th grade accredited, co-educational, independent school in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
