Schedule for spring youth sports announced

Maumee Valley is excited to announce youth sports offerings in basketball, track, and field hockey this spring.
Here are the eligibility requirements for each grade. To register for K-2 basketball, click here. The deadline is Sunday, March 12.

Registration for track and field hockey will be sent at a later date. The Athletic Department will collect a $20 fee for each sport. Make checks payable to Maumee Valley Country Day School and turn those into Rob Conover or Heather Rakosik.  

K-2nd Basketball Clinic
    • Dates: Tuesday/Thursdays: March 13, 15, 20, and 22
    • Time: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
    • Practice location: Lower School gymnasium
    • Fee: $20
    • Please make sure attendees have clean athletic footwear and a water bottle.
3rd-6th Grade Track
    • Practices: Wednesdays: April 19, 26, and May 3
    • Time: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
    • Track Meet: May 10 (Rain date is May 17)
    • Practice location: Koltay Soccer Field/Track (main stadium)
    • Fee: $20
    • Please make sure attendees have athletic clothing and footwear, water bottle, and sunscreen. Parent volunteers are welcome.
3rd-5th Grade Field Hockey
    • Practices: May 4, 9, 16, and 18
    • Time: 3:30-5 p.m. (Students will be supervised from 3-3:30 p.m.)
    • Practice location: Field hockey field
    • Fee: $20
    • Information forthcoming on equipment needs. Parent volunteers welcome.
After-school procedure for practice: All students will be taken to the Resource Center after school has been dismissed. Students will be escorted from the Resource Center to the practice location.  
 
Pick up from practice: Students will be taken to door #5 when practice ends to be picked up. Door #5 is on the west side of the Smead Building near Reynolds Road.
  
Students who are not picked up from Door #5 after 15 minutes will be checked into Extended Time Care and charged normal ETC rates. Please do not pick up your student from the practice location.
