MV names Eileen Sullivan as director of advancement

Maumee Valley Country Day School today announced Eileen Sullivan as its new director of advancement effective Dec. 11.
Ms. Sullivan is a Toledo attorney with significant experience working with individuals and families as a trust officer in the Private Bank for Key Bank and Huntington Bank. In those roles, Ms. Sullivan worked with families to facilitate charitable contributions through legacy bequests in estate planning as well as charitable lead trusts, charitable remainder trusts, donor-advised funds, and the formation and operation of private foundations.
 
Through her work in financial institutions, she has received extensive training in management, sales, client services, tax strategies, and wealth management. She also worked for a brief time as the director of planned giving at ProMedica.
 
No stranger to Maumee Valley, Ms. Sullivan has an impressive service record to our community. She has formerly served as president of both the Boosters and Maumee Valley Parent Association (MVPA) as well as on the Board of Trustees from 2016-2017 in her role as MVPA liaison. Last spring, she received the MVPA Volunteer of the Year Award. She and her husband Chad Baker are parents to three MV Hawks: John '16, Natalie '18, and Jack '24.

The Office of Advancement is responsible for all fundraising, special events, and alumni relations programming at Maumee Valley. Fundraising includes planned giving, the annual MV Fund, and endowment giving.
 
Ms. Sullivan has a bachelor of arts degree in English with a business concentration from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, as well as a Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo College of Law. She brings with her to Maumee Valley strong connections to the Toledo community, having lived here since beginning her professional career. 
 
Throughout the interview process, the search committee was impressed with Ms. Sullivan's professionalism, passion for Maumee Valley, and desire to help our institution succeed for generations to come.
