Online Learning at Maumee Valley

Maumee Valley is a member of the Hybrid Learning Consortium (HLC),founded and directed by The Barstow School. The HLC is a collective of schools around the world that develop high quality online courses for Upper School students.

The Hybrid Learning Consortium features small classes that allow students and teachers to interact and develop the type of relationship that we value in our on-campus classes. The HLC connects students across the country and the globe while allowing them to focus on their individual interests and passions.

We recognize that by the time Maumee Valley students reach the Upper and Middle Schools, they are well-rounded and sophisticated learners. The Hybrid Learning Consortium allows us to offer a greater variety of courses than we could ever dream of providing here on campus. Students take courses in a variety of fields, such as creative writing, engineering, entrepreneurship, sports broadcasting, and additional AP courses.

If you would like to learn more about the HLC, you can visit their website or contact Head of Upper School Brian Oliver at boliver@mvcds.org.
