I really appreciate the opportunity that Maumee Valley gave me to spend time with my Buddy Family. They taught me a lot, both in school and in my American life.

The Dayal House

Maumee Valley’s boarding program is housed in the brand new, $1.6 million Dayal House. The residence hall was purposefully designed to create a family-like atmosphere for residential students. From the spacious Commons to the well equipped main kitchen, the Dayal House feels like a home. The Student Life staff includes two American families who forge close relationships with students and guide them in building friendships and developing important social and leadership skills.

Highlights of the Dayal House and boarding program include:
  • 7:1 student/staff ratio
  • 2 full kitchens
  • spacious Commons
  • secure environment
  • beautiful views
  • steps from classes and athletics facilities
  • comfortable, home-like feel

Located just across the Anning Lawn from the Upper School, the Dayal House is the place on campus where boarding, international, and day students meet after school to participate in clubs, meet with faculty and staff, or just hang out.

Welcome

Being part of our residential community means you are joining a family. With almost 40 scholars from around the world (28 living on campus in Dayal House), our boarding students truly live the school’s mission of “enabling students to become enlightened, compassionate, and contributing citizens of our global community.” Our program, led by our Student Life staff, is designed to feel like a home away from home. Students are supported and guided and the Maumee Valley family is here to help each student succeed academically and socially. Unlike traditional boarding schools, our thoughtfully crafted program, small size, and focus on the individual student provide personal attention and care to each of our students.
