Zeinab Khalil '10

Zeinab holds a BA from the University of Michigan in international relations and gender studies; an MA from Yale University where she focused on critical development studies; and a JD from Columbia Law School. Her interests include criminal law, appellate litigation, and indigent defense. 
Since graduating from MVCDS, Zeinab has been awarded the Michigan Alumni Student of the Year Award, the Kathryn Davis Fellowship, the Open Society Presidential Fellowship, the Tony Patino Fellowship, and the Google Legal Institute Scholarship.

She resides on the East Coast and visits Toledo often to be with family and loved ones. She enjoys mentoring students passionate about public interest work and always welcomes connections from MVCDS students and alumni.
