Juniors Receive Writing Awards
Congratulations to the following students who received recognition in the 2019 Scholastic Writing Awards competition! Colette Jarrell ’20 received a Silver Key award in the Humor category for her “Top Ten Steps to College Aid”. Ann Williams ‘20 received two Honorable Mentions for her poems “Swan Song” and “Dreams in April”.
The Scholastic Exhibition at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art will exhibit Gold and Silver Key writing works and will open on Saturday, February 9th, 2019. The Regional Awards Ceremony will at the University of St. Francis Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center in downtown Fort Wayne on Sunday, February 17th, 2019.
Physical books and e-books containing the writing works will be published this year via Lulu, an online self-publishing site.
