Swim Team Having an Impressive Season

The MVCDS swim team have had a notable season and continue to impress.

Alaina Foster ’20
1st place 200 I.M. - 2:27.94, advanced to Districts and is seeded 23
1st place 100 Back - 1:04.49, advanced to Districts and is seeded 14

Sasha Grinevich ’21
4th place 100 Fly - 1:07.21, advanced to Districts and is seeded 22
1st place 500 Free 5:41.47, advanced to Districts and is seeded 17

Wesley Foster ’2
1st place 50 Free: 23.65, advanced to Districts and is seeded 20 (highest Freshman seeded)
1st place 100 Free: 52.02, advanced to Districts and is seeded 18 (one of only two Freshman to qualify and he is highest seeded Freshman)

The District Swim Meet was Friday, Feb. 15 at BGSU. The top two District swim times in each event automatically advanced to the state meet. The next 16 fastest times from across all four districts will also qualify for the state meet.

Miller Karns ’20
2nd place 1 meter diving 377.90. advanced to Districts seeded 2nd.

District Diving is Wednesday at BGSU. The top 10 divers will advance to the state meet.
