After six weeks of frantic engineering, writing, programming and practicing, the MV Hawks robotics team competed in a themed competition called "Off the Grid" at BGSU today. The team took 1st place in Marketing presentation and 1st in Team Display against 16 other FalconBEST teams. They also took home the 4th place competition finish using their robot to restore a simulated electrical grid on a very difficult course. This combined overall score along with the engineering notebook score put the Hawks in 2nd place for the BEST competition. This finish allows the team to advance to the regional competition to be held in Denver Colorado on December 7th. Congratulations to the Robotics Team!
