Congrats to Eighth Grade Poets
Congratulations to Maumee Valley's very talented 8th-grade poets! Their work is currently featured in The Ekphrastic Review. This special showcase highlights exemplary work from a recently completed classroom challenge: The Ultimate Ekphrastic Challenge. Students engaged in daily poetry prompts exploring various poetic techniques and forms in response to works of art, many of which can be found on exhibit at The Toledo Museum of Art.
Featured 8th grade poets include: Jack Baker, Abby Bleyer, Karen Chen, Brynn Chleblowski, Katheleeya Chua, Sarah Elgamal, Amaya Greene, Cece Martorana, Joss Newby, Lyra Qian, Izek Royer, Johnna Ruiz, Phoebe Schocket, Jessica Sills, and Aiden Skinner.
