Norah Li wins congressional art competition

Li's drawing "Uneaten Pomegranate" will be on display at the U.S. Capitol.
Congratulations to Norah Li '21 for being honored for her artistic excellence by the Arts Commission and U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Toledo) in the Ninth Congressional Districts Invitational Art Competition.

Li's drawing "Uneaten Pomegranate" will be on display at the U.S. Capitol. She will receive $150 prize and airfare to fly to Washington, D.C., for the installation.

Kaptur has presented the opportunity to high students and artists in Cuyahoga, Erie, Lorain, Lucas, and Ottawa counties since 1983.

This is the third year in a row an MV student won first place! Congratulations to Li and to Middle and Upper School Art Teacher Kristin Kowalski.
