Rick Deichert '12 enshrined in TAAC Hall of Fame
Rick was a standout athlete during his time at Maumee Valley on many sports teams and went to golf at NCAA Division III Ohio Northern.
Congratulations to Rick Deichert '12 on his induction into the Toledo Area Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Nov. 19.
Rick was a standout athlete during his time at Maumee Valley on many sports teams and went to golf at NCAA Division III Ohio Northern.
He earned All TAAC honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior, was TAAC Player of the Year in 2011, 1st team all-district in 2011, finished 3rd in the state in 2011, and was selected as all-state that same year all in golf.
Rick also was a standout on the 2011-12 TAAC and district championship basketball team.
At ONU, he finished in the top five at tournaments nine times and was a two-time all-conference honoree.
Maumee Valley Country Day School is the only PreK-12th grade accredited, co-educational, and independent school in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
