6 Maumee Valley field hockey players earn national academic honors
Six Hawks were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association High School National Academic Squad.
The 2021 Maumee Valley Country Day School field hockey team were winners in the classroom and on the field this fall.
Six Hawks were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association High School National Academic Squad.
The honor recognizes high school juniors and seniors with a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average. Those honored were:
- Elena Bleyer '22
- Triana Card '23
- Allison Launder '23
- Lexi Phillips '23
- Ananya Saini '23
- Kimmi Zhao '23
Both Launder and Zhao were recognized with Scholar of Distinction honors for having a 3.9 GPA or above.
