MV swim improved throughout the season

The six members of Maumee Valley's swim team had a great season practicing and bonding with other small teams that included Rossford, Maumee, Patrick Henry, and Eastwood.
There were two Hawks swimmers with their first seasons swimming with MV — Charlie Gorski ' 25 finished off his season with a 22.92-second drop in the 200 free and a 3-second drop in the 100 free, and Andrew Tran '23 finished his season with a 1.45-second drop in the 50 free and an 8.29-second drop in the 100 breaststroke.

Zeta Culestena '24 finished her second season swimming in the 50 free and 100 free with a 2.41-second drop.

Ved Patel '23 finished his third season swimming in the 50 free with a .48 second drop and the 100-yard breaststroke.

Tyler Foster '24 finished his second season by placing 30th in the 50 free with a 23.92 and 5th in the 100 back with a 57.35.

Team Captain Wesley Foster '22 finished his fourth and final season, holding his 24.24 in the 50 free and 29th in the 100 free with a 54.70.

Charlie, Tyler, Ved, and Wesley swam in the 200-yard medley relay with a 1-second drop and the 200-yard free relay with a 2.83 drop.

Please help congratulate all of our swimmers for a hard-working, successful season! Come cheer on our district qualifiers, Wesley, in 100 free and 50 free, and Tyler, in 50 free and 100 back). Districts are this Friday at Bowling Green State University.
