Alexander Ni '24 is runner-up in Congressional art contest, two more MV students honored

The award ceremony will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, in the Little Theater at the Toledo Museum of Art. 
Alexander Ni '24 was selected as runner-up and two more Maumee Valley students will have their work displayed as part of the Ninth Congressional District Invitational Art Competition.

Ni's Congressional Runner Up Award and The Art Supply Depot Award for his self-portrait titled "Reflection." Paige Yustick '23 and Helen Yan '24 also will have their artwork displayed as part of the exhibition. 

U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur, D-Toledo, has been hosting the contest for 39 years and honors artistic excellence demonstrated by high school students in Lucas, Ottawa, Cuyahoga, Erie and Lorain counties.

The award ceremony will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, in the Little Theater at the Toledo Museum of Art. 

Ni, Yustick, and Yan will have their work on display at the museum's Art Community Gallery through April 24.
