Fall Tournament around the corner
The biggest event of fall is just around the corner.
The annual Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is Sept. 16-18. This year, we celebrate and welcome back classes ending in 2's and 7's. (Learn more)
Coinciding with that event is the Fall Tournament, during which MV hosts 20 soccer and field hockey teams and our athletes play in 15 games in just over 24 hours! (Our cross-country team also competes that weekend at an away meet.)
Activities begin with an all-school Pep Rally on Friday, for which Lower School students are learning the Fight Song. After the rally, the entire school comes out to the playing field to watch the Upper School girls' field hockey team compete.
Spirit Week Schedule
Our first Spirit Week of the 2022-2023 school year starts Monday, Sept. 12. The themes were created by upper school Student Council members. Later this year, our winter and spring Spirit Week themes will be selected by students in the lower school Kid Kouncil.

- Monday: PJ Day. Wear your comfiest pajamas to school.
- Tuesday: Twin Day. Find a friend and dress alike.
- Wednesday: Wacky Socks Day. Sport your wacky and mismatched socks.
- Thursday: Anything But a Backpack Day. Bring your school supplies in something other than a backpack (grocery bag, pillowcase, whatever you can think!)
- Friday: Blue and White Day. Dress in blue and white from head to toe and get ready to cheer on our upper school girls’ field hockey team.
