Maumee Valley creates a lifetime love of learning. Both of my children embrace new experiences and environments.
~Shelly Orenstein, MVCDS Parent
Maumee Valley guides each student through a personal journey carefully constructed in partnership with faculty advisors.  Here, students come to know their passions and their strengths, and they learn to respect and value the qualities in others.

Maumee Valley values a partnership between teachers, students, and parents in the growth and success of each child. While all students achieve the foundational skills at the core of a Maumee Valley education, they also explore those skills and interests that define their individuality.  Throughout the school faculty mentors support students and learning teams develop programs that intentionally inspire students to do their best, to advance at a pace right for them, and to explore and pursue their passions.

Personal education at Maumee Valley can be seen in classrooms across campus. From the Director of College Counseling working one-on-one with students and families, to the Dayal Center for Academic Excellence Learning Support Program’s commitment to each student’s success, to the Academic Summit in the Middle School where students research a global issue they are passionate about and communicate its impact to the community.

Individual Attention

Maumee Valley's small class sizes and 9:1 teacher to student ratio allow faculty and advisors to get to know each student on an individual level. Student interests are identified early and teachers provide students with the tools to explore their passions throughout their educational journey.
