Life at Maumee Valley isn’t limited to academia. At Maumee Valley, our community is close-knit and supportive of one another. We are proud of our school and it shows.

Several events bring the Maumee Valley community together to celebrate the achievements our school has made in the past and the future.

In the fall, the all-school pep rally is a time for everyone to get excited for the year to come. Taking place just before Homecoming weekend, students and faculty participate in relay races and cheers to support our Fall Sports Teams (soccer, field hockey, tennis, and golf). Following the pep rally is our annual Fall Tournament carnival, where students from the ELC through Upper School host games and food stands for the entire community to enjoy. Afterwards, everyone gathers to watch the soccer and field hockey teams advance in the Fall Tournament.
Thanskgiving is a time for our entire community to join us in the Resource center to sing songs and share thanks. At the end of the assembly, our older students form a human arch, and everyone else passes through. Thanksgiving is a time for us to reflect on what we have, both as individuals, and as a school.

International student welcome dinners, countless awards assemblies, and luncheons with grandparents, alumni, and new students also bring us together. We believe celebrating our students’ accomplishments and bringing everyone together for these occasions is just as important as the achievement itself.
