Maumee Valley Parent Association Mission

The MVPA supports and complements the mission and philosophy of Maumee Valley Country Day School through volunteer service, parent education, and community building. MVPA strives to actively involve and communicate with the entire parent community.

A Letter from the MVPA President

My name is Reema Ridi and I am the MVPA President this year. I have been apart of the MVCDS community for the past five years with my children, Sami, Rami, and Jenna Ridi. In the past, I have served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Parents Association and I have been a parent rep in the middle school for the past three years. I am very passionate about helping and volunteering. If you have any questions about MVPA, then you can reach me anytime at reema.ridi@yahoo.com

The MVPA (Maumee Valley Parent Association) is in full swing for the 2020-2021 school year. In lieu of having a Zoom meeting for our first Lower School MVPA meeting, we recorded the informational session for you. There have been a lot of Zoom meetings between Back to School Night and Parent-Teacher Conferences so we opted to record this short information video for you. You can view the recording here to learn more about the MVPA structure in the Lower School and how you can volunteer this year. This information is intended for both on-campus and remote families.
Planning for the Halloween parties is currently underway. Thank you to Kate Blake, Samantha Harrison, and Mindi Marshall for leading the way with our planning. Here is the current schedule for October 30th. If you would like to help plan your child's homeroom celebration, then please contact your classroom MVPA rep. A list of MVPA reps can be found here.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year together in the Lower School.

Kind Regards,

Reema Ridi
MVPA President
