Through a state program, Ohio residents can receive a tax credit and help Maumee Valley students at the same time.

Ohio is one of 18 states with a tax-credit scholarship program. Ohio taxpayers receive dollar-for-dollar non-refundable tax credits up to $750 for single filers and $1,500 for joint filers (though each filer needs to make a $750 donation to receive $1,500 credit) for donations to Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs).

The Ohio Association of Independent Schools (OAIS), of which Maumee Valley Country Day School is a member, is a registered SGO. When donating through the OAIS website, you can select Maumee Valley’s general fund as the recipient of your gift. Maumee Valley pools the money to create a scholarship fund and assist students and families with demonstrated need.
