Maumee Valley Country Day School was one of four schools participating in an annual state-wide Mock Trial competition Friday, January 29, 2016. With information about the case attained in advance, students acted as prosecutors, defense attorneys, and witnesses. Using proper court procedure they presented their case in front of presiding Judge Joshua Lanzinger in Toledo Municipal Court. Maumee Valley student Emily Rigby was awarded the outstanding witness award for one round. John Sullivan organized this year’s team and Sally Pont was the student advisor.
