Families of 2nd and 3rd graders are invited to the Concert & Art Show on Friday, March 8, from 2-3 p.m. in the Millennium Theatre. Students will present songs and stories, play instruments, and perform dances as images of their recent artwork are displayed on a screen above the stage. The songs, stories, and dances represent indigenous regions of the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeast that they have studied in their classrooms. When the concert ends, families can head to the Blakey Resource Center to view the villages students created to represent the indigenous peoples.
