Lunch bunches to jointly read 'The Smart Cookie'
The next round of lunch bunches for students in grades K-3 starts next week with a focus on The Smart Cookie by John Jory.
The book's themes are identifying personal strengths, confidence, and positive self-talk. The book is a great way to kick off a new year and semester by getting students to think about their personal strengths and challenges, encouraging them to try new things, and imagining the possibilities of the second half of the school year. As always, the bunches end with a game after the book and discussion.
