MATHCOUNTS team advances to states
The Maumee Valley MATHCOUNTS team did extremely well individually and as a team Friday at the Northwest Ohio Chapter competition in Archbold.
Earning individual honors were Solimae Patibandla '28 (second place) and Jash Patel '28 (fourth place). Our four-person team of Solimae, Jash, Julian Beatty-Duarte '28, and Jet Conover '28 took first and advanced to the state competition next month.
The national finals are in May. Congratulations to other team members Amar El Gafy '28, Serina Tal '30, Lillian Tam '30, and Lily Wright '30.
