    Flexible Tuition at Maumee Valley
Maumee Valley Country Day School established its stellar reputation by fostering a learning community that celebrates individuality. We place a high value on enrolling students and families with different interests and backgrounds. Just as our school is dedicated to the success of each child, we also are committed to making Maumee Valley financially accessible to as many families as possible.
An important way we create access and attract the most qualified and mission-ready students and families is through our flexible tuition program. Flexible tuition is not a grant or an award; instead, it is a way to help families pay their fair share of tuition according to individual financial situations.

Many factors go into determining the flexible tuition amount. The actual tuition amount you pay results from an analysis of your family's financial situation and a conversation with the school. The goal is to find an amount that works for your family and Maumee Valley. Guiding our decisions are the “Principles of Good Practice for Financial Aid Administration” from the National Association of Independent Schools.

To identify an amount a family should contribute toward a child's education at Maumee Valley, we start with an estimate determined by a standard calculation using information the family provides on the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) through the online FACTS portal. The MV Flexible Tuition Committee reviews this estimate to determine the flexible tuition amount.

Maumee Valley encourages all families to apply. All students in prekindergarten through 12th grade are eligible. Families apply each year as family circumstances, school budget, and tuition amounts change. If a family’s financial situation does not change significantly, they should not expect their flexible tuition amount to change significantly.
