Afro-Am Dinner February 26

Each year the African American club at Maumee Valley holds a Black History Month dinner to celebrate African American culture. This year it will be Monday, February 26 from 6-8pm.The main goal for this gathering is to come together as a community and discuss important topics in black culture today. In previous years these discussions have been conducive in bringing together people from different backgrounds and getting their opinions on controversial subjects.

This year’s theme is “Opportunities”. There will be a panel of respected community members answering questions on this matter. The audience is also encouraged to add their thoughts to the conversation. The general public is invited to come and participate in the dinner and the discussion. There is an admittance fee of $5.
