Zane Reeves earns Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship is highly selective and aims to help students achieve their maximum potential by funding the full cost of attendance that isn't already covered by other financial aid.
Zane Reeves '21 was one of 300 students nationwide who earned a Gates Scholarship.
Characteristics of a Gates Scholar include:
- An outstanding academic record in high school (in the top 10 percent of their graduating class)
- Demonstrated leadership ability (e.g., as shown through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities)
- Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.)
